Voice Reporter AI Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy outlines how Voice Reporter AI (a speech-to-text reporting module integrated within SnapMark Pro) handles microphone audio, voice recordings, transcriptions, and generated AI reports.

1. Privacy-First Local Speech Recognition

Voice Reporter AI features a local-first on-device speech recognition engine. When local processing mode is selected, your microphone audio is transcribed directly on your local device. No raw audio stream is transmitted over the internet or uploaded to remote servers.

2. Audio Data Retention & Zero Training Policy

We maintain a strict zero-retention policy for raw audio samples. Spoken audio data is held transiently in system memory during live transcription and discarded immediately upon recording termination.

🛡️ Zero AI Model Training Guarantee Your voice, speech recordings, and auto-generated transcriptions are NEVER used to train, tune, or improve public AI or large language models.

3. Browser & Microphone Permissions

Voice Reporter AI requests browser microphone access (`navigator.mediaDevices.getUserMedia`) solely to capture your voice when you explicitly click the "Start Voice Recording" button. Microphone access is active only while the recording status indicator displays an active state.

4. Optional Cloud Acceleration Security

If you opt to use cloud AI report generation, speech transcripts are encrypted in transit via TLS 1.3 and processed using zero-log API endpoints.
